Visa regulations are simple for most of the tourists visiting Sri Lanka. The common tourist visa are issued as a single entry. Eligibility to get the Visit Visas
Being a foregin national who is expecting to enter Sri Lanka and also he should hold a return airticke and enough funds (currency/travelers cheques and credit cards).
Mode of Issue the Visit Visas
Citizens of following countries can enter Sri Lanka without a prior visa and will be allowed an entry visa issued for 30 days. Extension (for anothe two monts) of tourist visas is handled by the Department of Immigration and Emigration. Visa extention over two months will only be considered for a vilid reason.
